They are a perfect way to link to online content because they mean people don’t need to type in a web site address, which on a mobile device can be awkward and time consuming.

    A mobile site is a web site that has been built with the consideration that people will be viewing it on a mobile device. This means it has followed different design principles then a standard web site. Standard web sites do not normally display well on mobile devices. Websites that are built for mobile devices, are often referred to as ‘mobile optimized’, meaning they will work well on mobile devices.

    CMS stands for ‘Content Management System’. A CMS is where you can add and edit content for your mobile site.

    A campaign is like a project. It is the main title or reference for your mobile site. Depending on the subscription package you have, you may have a few campaigns running at the same time.

  • What is a campaign name?

    This is what you call each campaign to simplify keeping track of things.

  • What are analytics?

    The analytics tool can enable you to track activity around your various mobile campaigns. With this tool, you are able to see how many users are engaging with your mobile site and what sections of the site they are visiting.

  • What does “Active” mean?

    “Active” refers to whether or not your campaign is “Live” and running. If it is not Active, the site will not be accessible to people.

  • What does ‘Visible’ mean?

    “Visible” is what makes your different campaign pages viewable to the user.

  • What is a text page?

    A text page can be any page, containing anything you would like to contain. You can call it anything and edit its contents in your CMS.

  • What is a web address page?

    This type of page will link to any external web address, from your mobile site.

  • What is a “Contact” page?

    This page contains a form that people can contact you through.

    This page can link to your Facebook page, where people can read your profile or interact with it and become your fan.
